A butt plug is a cone- or teardrop-shaped toy with a wide base that's inserted into the anus and stays in place without active holding. The base stops full insertion. It comes in different sizes, materials (silicone, stainless steel, glass) and designs. In choosing a size there are two dimensions. Diameter (the maximum width): the critical measurement. Beginners: 2-3 cm. Intermediate: 3-4 cm. Experienced: 4+ cm.
