Single-Tail Whips, Bullwhips & Heavy Floggers
Floggers, cat o' nine tails and single-tail whips
This category includes different impact-play tools: multi-tail floggers, cat o' nine tails, braided and single-tail whips, long bullwhips, tickle whips and selected crop-like designs. Tail count and shape, length, material, weight and speed affect feel and control. A flogger with several soft tails is not equivalent to a narrow single-tail or a bullwhip.
Main constructions
- Floggers: multiple flat or rounded tails made from leather, vegan leather, silicone or another stated material.
- Cat o' nine tails: several longer tails, often narrower or finished differently.
- Single-tail whips and bullwhips: one long braided or solid tail that needs much more room and technical control.
- Tickle or decorative whips: lighter constructions that should not be judged only by appearance.
Choosing and setting limits
Compare total length, usable tail length, tail count and width, material, handle weight, wrist loop and the room needed for handling. Inspect stitching, braiding, edges and the handle connection before each use. Agree boundaries and a stop signal, and avoid the head, face, neck, spine, kidneys, joints and other vulnerable areas. Long single-tails and bullwhips can reach high speeds and are not suitable for first practice on a body. They require a clear area, training and controlled practice away from people, animals and fragile objects before any consensual use.
