A Kegel ball (Kegel balls, ben wa balls) is a small spherical or egg-shaped object placed inside the vagina to strengthen the pelvic muscles. It works two ways. Passively: its presence activates the muscles holding it. Actively: the user does Kegel contractions while holding it. It comes in different sizes/weights for progression. Common material: medical silicone or stainless steel. Often with a cord or stem for removal.

Benefits of strengthening the pelvic muscles. A tighter feel during intercourse (mutual or for the user). Better urinary control (preventing or addressing incontinence after childbirth or with age). More intense orgasms due to muscle strength. Restoring vaginal tone after childbirth. Better awareness of the pelvic floor. Systematic use of 15-20 minutes a day brings visible results in 4-8 weeks. Steps. Cleaning. A little water-based lube. Insertion lying down: the ball goes in like a tampon, to a depth that fits easily.
