A dildo is considered realistic when it faithfully reproduces the anatomical features of a penis: an anatomical head with a defined ridge, visible veins, a slight curve and often testicles at the base. Quality models are made of dual-density silicone, with a firmer inner core and a softer outer surface. This brings the feel to the touch close to that of natural skin.

These are two different approaches to a realistic feel. Materials like CyberSkin (a patented TPE blend) offer a soft, lifelike touch, but need more care in cleaning and storage because they are porous. Dual-density medical silicone gives a slightly firmer feel, is non-porous, withstands years of use and can be sterilized. The choice depends on whether you prioritize feel or durability and hygiene.

Testicles add a more natural look and act as a natural insertion limit. A suction cup lets you fix the dildo to smooth surfaces, so it can be used hands-free. Models with a flat base are also compatible with a strap-on harness. The choice depends on how you use it: for partnered play and more flexible positions, both features are useful. For simple manual use they are not essential.

The safest way is to immerse it in lukewarm water at 38-42°C for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, wrap it in a warm towel for a few minutes. A microwave or direct heat source is not recommended, as they can alter the silicone or damage electronic parts. On rechargeable models, apply heat only externally to keep water away from the electronics. A little lubricant after warming helps hold the temperature.

There are several signs of low quality you can spot before use. A strong chemical smell is linked to possible phthalates. A greasy or sticky surface indicates the material is leaching plasticizers over time. Visible seams, colors that run when wet, and the absence of any material listed on the packaging are also important signs. A quality product carries a clear material note such as "medical grade silicone" or "phthalate-free."

The FtM/MtF category includes accessories for cross-dressing roles or trans expression. Female to Male (FtM): a packer, a soft prosthetic penis for daily wear under clothes; a Stand-To-Pee (STP), a packer allowing standing urination; a hollow strap-on packer with erection capability; a chest binder. Male to Female (MtF): silicone breast forms; hip pads for curves; tucking gaffs (to conceal the genitals). Use: trans expression, drag, cross-dressing, role play.

A packer is a prosthetic penis for daily wear without erection capability. Structure: silicone or TPE, a realistic shape with testicles, in skin tones. Size: usually 4-6 inches (10-15 cm). Worn: in special packing underwear with a front pouch; in a strap-on harness with a belt; or with adhesive (some models stick to the body). Purpose: trans men's gender expression; drag king performance; cosplay; mental comfort. Not for intercourse (non-erect). Price 30-150 euros.

Types of breast forms. Silicone breasts: filled with silicone gel or foam, the most realistic, with a weight like real breasts, price 50-300 euros a pair. Foam pads: light, cheap, for casual wear, less realistic, 20-50 euros. Hyper-realistic: silicone with visible veins and pink nipples, premium 200-600 euros. Sizes A-DDD cup. How worn: with adhesive on the sternum, in a special pocketed bra, or in a mastectomy bra. First-purchase advice: a medium silicone B/C cup.

A tucking gaff is a special undergarment for MtF expression. Function: it compresses the external genitals (penis and testicles) so they don't show under clothes. Shape: a bikini or full brief with a tight front pouch. Materials: spandex, lycra, microfiber. Proper placement: the testicles are pushed up into the body; the penis is folded back between the thighs; the gaff holds them there. Prolonged use over 8-10 hours can irritate, so breaks are recommended.

Two different uses of the same category. Trans expression: trans people express their gender with these products in daily life or as part of transition; it's gender-affirming, not erotic. Role play: people exploring a gender swap as an erotic scenario. The shop stocks for the same audience. When a trans person buys a packer or breast form, it isn't a 'fetish', it's medical/everyday. When a cis person buys for role play, it's kink. Two legitimate uses, both treated with respect.
